About the event
Join Gina Galli, E-RYT 200 as she shares essential insights into building bone strength through yoga and complementary modalities. Drawing from the expertise of Dr. Susan Brown, Dr. Loren Fishman, and Sara Meeks P.T., M.S., G.C.S., K.Y.T., this workshop equips yoga teachers with the tools to support individuals with osteoporosis, arthritis, injuries, or joint issues.
Learn to confidently guide students toward staying stronger and longer. In our roles as yoga teachers, we understand the importance of maintaining good health and aging gracefully. Yet, these goals are often overlooked until faced with injuries or diagnoses like osteopenia or osteoporosis. Through yoga, we have the power to promote strong and healthy bones. Gina's passion lies in leveraging yoga for body restoration, collaborating with Dr. Susan Brown PhD. and the Center for Better Bones to understand targeted exercises for building or rebuilding bone density.
Designed specifically for yoga teachers, this workshop offers a comprehensive understanding of bone health conditions and their implications for our practice. Emphasizing body mechanics, awareness, and modification techniques, we'll learn to effectively accommodate physical limitations or injuries.
Gain the knowledge and confidence needed to guide students on their journey to better bone health, explore strategies for fostering strength and healing, and ensuring safe practices for students with conditions like osteoporosis, osteopenia, and scoliosis.
Join us as we empower each other to support lifelong well-being and vitality for ourselves and our students.
